about me
Hi, I'm Lucy!
I’ve had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. Running around with my 35mm Winnie the Pooh camera snapping photos as a kid, capturing the parts of life that caught my eye, and freezing those stories in frames for years to come. That buzz of anticipation waiting for my developed images has stayed with me ever since.
After studying for my undergraduate degree in Photography in Surrey, travelling, and then going on to complete my Masters degree at Belfast School of Art, I realised the moments that meant the most to me were always the real, unposed ones, the kind that say more than words ever could. My time in Ireland in particular shaped how I see the world and taught me the value of quiet observation.
In 2021 I returned to Essex, ready to focus on work that felt meaningful. Weddings were the perfect fit. They bring together everything I love most about photography: storytelling, emotion, and capturing fleeting moments you’ll want to relive for years to come.

I’m a crime drama and apocalypse film fan, tea lover, keen baker, and veggie grower. You’ll usually find me choosing a cosy night in with a craft over a night out, although if you’re playing 2000s R&B on the dance floor, you can bet I’ll be right there with you!
I’ve always loved a good love story, which is exactly what draws me to wedding photography. I see it as finding the little details that make your day yours. The quiet hand squeezes, proud glances between parents, and the pure joy on the faces of your favourite people. I’m there to capture those moments, especially the ones you might have missed while living them. The ones you poured time, care, and thought into creating. That’s the kind of work I love.
Lucy
